I’ve officially launched RaceDaySetup.com — a new site where I’m sharing gear picks, setup advice, and race-day strategies based on the experience I’ve been building race after race. It’s a mix of what I’ve learned the hard way, what’s worked when it counts, and a place to collect the tools that have helped me build confidence on the start line.
I’ll keep racing updates here on BS Racing, but RaceDaySetup is where I’ll be diving into stuff like tire recommendations, bike setup tweaks, and race-specific gear — all with an eye toward helping riders race smarter and ride faster.
🔧 Latest Tire Pick: GJ Rides & Vibes Edition
I just posted my tire choice for Rides & Vibes in Grand Junction — spoiler: I went with an Aspen rear and Rekon Race front, which turned out to be a nice middle ground between fast-rolling and durable enough for the rough-as-hell course.
I punctured early on after a hard rim strike, but Orange Seal Endurance sealed it up without needing to stop (I was seriously impressed that it sealed a hole as big as this one). The course was dry and brutally technical. I probably should’ve gone up a PSI or two in the front to hedge against those early hits in the lower temps.
